To sell or not to sell?

I was trying to negotiate a fuel allowance from my latest employer (12 month contract) and they have given me a "pool car" it's an old Zafira diesel but clean and tidy. £150 a week in the Surf commuting it was costing.

Anyhoo, our Home Chief Economist has decreed the Surf as being surplus to requirements. I'm torn between the economics of getting some short term badly needed cash versus the fun factor versus the 6 day working week and lack of use... So many jobs done to it now it seems a shame to let it go.

Of course, I could export it as I have a home for it in europe, would need LHD lights for the equivalent of the MOT.

Hard having a home that's more than a day away when you only get one day off a week.

This isn't a for sale post, this is a give me reasons to argue for keeping it.
