  • anyone have a temp sensor plug

After a coolant temp sensor plug, not the sensor itself, im after one with an inch or so of wire still attatched, somehow my sensor plug had broken away from the wire flush with the plug. Randomly happened overnight. Must have been a squirrel.

If any of you have one let me know how much you would like for it

    Thanks
well, that was a bad idea!

looks similar to the one in pic, its the grey one on the 2.4, theres 2 below the thermostat area and its the one closer to the bulkhead. just need that plug with some wire so i can splice it in and have a working temp guage again.

i knew it was a squirrel, must have been him, looks cunning enough!

It should look like this. Notice how the plug is keyed. This is the slots and the positions they are in.

Oops, thought you wanted the Coolant Sensor one. So what you want is the Temperature Gauge one? Or is it the Thermo Fan Switch one?

It's a sender not a sensor. If it's a spade type fitting the just replace with one of those.

its all internal into the plug cover, id rather splice a new plug onto the existing wire then seal it all up, dont want muddy water upsetting and corroding things.
