Mate has the same car, it was the reversing sensor that gave it away... Was looking at a silver 5 today, that's where I got confused.

It happens when you get to my age.

BTW as I am sure you're aware, they go really well. Agile.

His even has LEDs to light the door handles outside

Would love an M5 estate but the Surf doesn't break sweat on the un-gritted roads around work.

And going fast is a crime worse than Jimmy Savile these days

As long as you post when and where you get stuck, we'll be happy.... might even have a local able to rescue you...

But for the other 364 days in the year I'm sure you'll be more than happy.
I had one as a company car for a while, years ago, and it just felt right... nice handling - tail outability, shame they couldn't put the pedals square to your legs...

Ye, the pedals are a bit on the pi$$, don't mind it though & I did a 2 hour run last week & didn't get cramp or anything.

Well done, glad to hear you're keeping fit. Now try driving it for 2 hours...

                    Seriously though,
To be fair, I never had a problem with the layout, although its not where you expect when you first get in.

How much is a service from a BMW garage?

I'd never take it to the dealer for a service, I have a mate who will do it at his garage + he knows alot about them.

Tar, tis exceptionally tidy, previous owner really looked after it but she has curbed the front & rear n/s wheels, not too bad but that's women drivers for you.
