The spurious 'a' had (has) me confused.

Fuel economy will depend on what and where you're driving, it won't be much though.
Do you know that, with a 50 character limit, it's

        What about a Morris 1000?

          Typo.
They should have been called Morris 68.

I drove a Morris once. My god it was awful. I don't think it would do 68 and changing gear was similar to shaking a stick in a bucket.

              Fuel

I manage 32mpg at around 55 to 60mph on a long run in my 3rd Gen at around 2100rpm.
In my Landy 90 about 30 at the same speed - so in a 110 probably a little less. Wind it up to over 2000rpm and watch it drink though!

Any mods needed to run them on biodiesel and any problems experienced from doing so?

No mods needed, just need to change the fuel filters more regularly but I installed an inline filter before the main filter. These are 50p each and can be changed in 1 minute.

I'm running on 80% bio 20% regular diesel. It won't be long before the government hikes the tax up on bio diesel.

Must be why my Morris Marina fell into the sea...

But this has me thinking. Would Princess Di have driven an Austin Princess. if so does her ex husband have a classic Aston Martin tosspot?

That sounds pretty good Nick, regular trips to the Clog (400 miles) at 65ish mph nearing 30 mpg ....
