I've been doing my second battery retrofit on and off over the weekend, I have pics for a brief guide as requested! (will upload when done, waiting for paint to dry...)
One thing that's thrown me, (before I decide to weigh up parallel vs. split charging....) is my battery clamp.. I think I have the wrong one...
I got the bits off a breaker, and didn't disassemble them myself, so I'm not sure if for some reason I have picked up the wrong clamp. I've also never actually looked at this setup in the flesh...
I've attached a pic, the furthest mount is my existing one (drivers side) the "new" one is the passenger side, and seems to be about an inch shorter, is this right? I would have expected them to be the same length (more or less).
Failing that could I be cheeky and ask someone with a third gen to get a pica of the passenger side battery clamp, and maybe even measure it end to end?
This one puts the first battery clamp firmly in the expansion bottle!
