I entered my Surf's reg into the box on an insurance comparison site and it asked me to select the correct vehicle from a drop-down. 3 out of 6 of the choices were Landcruiser Colorado, 1 was another Landcruiser type and the other 2 were surfs, one of which was the correct vehicle. What's that all about? Is it something to do with regional variations and names?

Assuming your Surf is a 3rd Gen, I've read that they're heavily based on the Colorado, and I too saw the same when I was looking to insure mine a couple of weeks ago, I'd try Adrian Flux, become a member here first (£15) and get 15% discount for being a member, which is very likely to be worth more than £15 plus you're doing your bit for the club/community
I'm sure those that know what they're talking about will be along soon enough, I'm as new to Surfs as you sound you are.
If you've got, or when you get your Surf, stick up some pictures I'm always curious as to what others have got, as are lots of others on here I'd imagine...
