FYI I was told this was due to someone adjusting the rear brakes via the handbrake cable. Hence wasnt returning correctly.
Is all okay now

Surf brakes are a piece of cake!!! Have a go, even in the rain the back brakes can be stripped and rebuilt in an hour by anyone with a bit know how
