  • Fibreglass kits

Anybody on here know about fibreglassing and what have you.I want to get a pair of front fogs off something like an Escort or Peugeot 406 or the like and "french" them into the rear of the front valance. Either side of the roo bar there is a shaped aperture, just looks like the ideal spot for them.If I make up some brackets to hold the lamps will fibreglass be the ideal thing to bond it to the rear of the valance,or will fibreglass not bond to that type of rubber/plastic material???
    Thanks in advance

    Hi Al,

The easiest way to make sure the fibreglass holds is to run a few screws through the valance (use black ones and countersink them in) then scuff up the back of the plastic properly and go for it,using the screws to lock the fibreglass on. You could also use screws and washers to bolt wire mesh to the back of the valance which would lock up the fibreglass nicely.

Try this place for supplies - I've used them for years with no problems.

Roof box still going strong cheers!
