With the idle up switch, does that mean a PTO somewhere? I can't think of a reason why otherwise

No P.T.O winch option sorry, idle up switch is for helping heater in winter and helping warm up at first start in morning if you happen to be the type who warms their car for 5 mins before you set off.

Mines before the electronic switch so has the adjusting screw knob for this and I love it as I can go 4wding and have the idle set a little higher and not worry about stalling, why it gives you the ability to be able to wind it all the way to full throttle I dont know, well at least if I ever needed to idle at 4k rpm I can

Lift the adjustment knobs as if you were flattening the seats. The seat back will then have several 'stops' that it can go in.

I only noticed it because the two seat backs didn't line up and I wondered if something had been bent. After fiddling with it I noticed the multi positions.

This is on a 3rd gen, not sure if they all have it.

Wifes Yaris verso does this too.

Primitive cruise control

It was two weeks before I realised the arm rest opened in two sections...

It took me a few more weeks to realise that the heater doubles up the glove-box as a hot cupboard, great for storing chocolate

Anyone else think the tool bag is useless? You can fit all the small attachments in the hole where the jack goes.

The top lid opens for one compartment then if you put your hand further down the front you can lift the middle section up and its got a compartment twice as big underneath.

Mine is a 4Runner so I don't have Air-con or an EGR in the way ether.

One I just discovered is the drainage hole in the bottom of the air box for when water gets in or you wash it out, just tested it, you got to push the bung towards the engine and the water flows right out.

My surf lets me know I have the indicator on, not by the common click click of the turn relay but by a rather strangled beep beep coming from somewhere in the load area.
It only works on left turns.
