Perhaps if your original post had had a bit more detail with regards to the actual specifics of your problem then generally you would have got some specific answers .

the truck drives like normal up to and over 40 its when i drive at 40-45ish i get this front to back judder and its felt through the seat. i used to do all the work on my truck until my accident when i lost most the use of my right arm so im stuck with garages, the garage that said posible gearbox is different to the air con garage. i am having loads of problems finding a garage in tyne and wear that will look at my truck let alone fix it, so anyone know a good garage i would love to know.
i appoligise for before but im in load of pain and lose my temper quick,i take 29 tables a day for pain.

I think people are just a little incredulous that you've stated an issue and an answer to it that completely unrelated.

You didn't post whether the judder is road speed related, or engine rev related, its the first thing to check to see if the problem is engine or drive train related.

I assume if the garage said its turbo related, it does it at the same engine revs regardless of gear or road speed, otherwise they are just guessing, and guessing badly at that.

it only seems to happen in overdrive at 40mph (not sure of engine speed) when i am trying to hold that speed, i wanted the turbo changed not the garage, i just assumed that the old turbo was causing the problem as it was getting noisy. the trucks fine all the rest of the time. does this help?

Not 40mph with O/D off, or in 2nd? I'd still check the UJ's or tyre balance first, but that could be a gearbox issue.

I've never heard of an individual gear problem in an autobox yet, apart from slipping clutch bands or a solenoid, not to say it can't be, but its sensible to check/replace the easy, and more likely to be at fault parts first.

The turbo is driven purely by exhasut gases, it tends to be unaffected by road speeds or even engine loadings to a degree, it'll make noises just on actual RPM of motor, regardless of the gear you're in.

Don'y forget when checking the "UJ's" They could be fecked (knackered) n sloppy or seized/seizing due to lack of greasing !!

If you only get vibrations at 40, it could be early onset menopause. Wait until you reach 41 or get someone older or younger to test drive it.

Seriously if it's only at 40mph it's more than likely your front rims/tyres, either balancing, pressure or uneven wear.

I'd check my tyre pressures tomorrow, if that makes no difference try swapping the fronts to the rear, if no joy then get them balanced.

If you still have the same 40mph vibrations I'd start checking the steering and suspension, joints, bushes and bearings from the front rims to the back.

It is highly unlikely to be an engine issue if it only presents itself at a certain speed.

Had a judder/vibration on my 3rd gen when overdrive came in at 55mph. Changed the fuel filter and it cured it. Filter was partly blocked or faulty causing fuel starvation .

i changed my turbo as i bought a second hand one when my original one packed up, then i saved to buy a new one as the second hand one wasnt great, but a bearing set would fix it thats why it up for FREE for someone that might need it. but the judder feels like engine problems not wheel balancing, as its almost like im in too high a gear.

I wasn`t taking the pee, just asking a question.

There are some very knowledgable guys on here, I would heed their advice mate. Start with the tyres, go through the drive train before spending loads of money. Can`t help with a garage in your area, but we have a great one down here in Lancashire, can post details if you want. Bit of a trek for you though.
