    What the 'Pattern' was?

    Dear Mr Cafferty,

    Your StanJames.com username is: ******

All Stan James accounts are reviewed on a regular basis by our Trading team, and due to betting patterns on this account the decision has been made to close it.

I would make you aware that this decision has been made at the highest level and will not be reversed. Any open bets will be honoured, and any outstanding balance will be returned to you via your normal withdrawal method.

    Kind regards,
    The Stan James Team.

It's a simple pattern...You lose, next bet is double the original stake.

Keep on doubling up until you win.

Ah, sorry. No, I wasn't doubling up. Just 17 bets since the beginning of June.

Yep, my bigger bets won, only the small ones lost. I had been slowly increasing my stakes (as my bank grew) they weren't happy that I was winning, so they closed the account.

It's the hypocrisy of it that I can't get over. They're happy when folk lose, but ban folk that win.

Well I hope you managed to withdraw any money you had accured.

No doubt tucked away in the small print will be the clause they have used.

They have honoured my 2 open bets and I always draw my money out when I win. Just in case!

A friend of mine was addicted to online Texas Hold Em. He realised he had a problem and decided to cancel his account which was well in credit according to him. His last game after he advised he was closing the account he got hit with two big hands (Royal Flush and something else) which you hardly ever see. Cleared him out. Coincidence?

I'm not a gambling man "once a year on the national" but that is totally off side what they have done.

You must have been winning big for them to close it Andy?

£1,300 in 2 months. It's hardly 'big' money.
