chances of finding a phase 1?

This is not a wanted ad, more of a what are my chances of Finding an early Surf guys?

I have always liked them and we are really happy with the wifes 3 litre so now i'm deciding on a project I'm gauging my chances of finding one of these early 2 door trucks with the fiberglass rear end.

I prefer cheap and needs fixing/restoring to expensive and minty but do thesey still exist in he UK?

Can't say ive ever seen one on the road so i dont want to waste weeks looking, only to find they are all gone, or worth so much I cant afford one.

Usually one or two on ebay. I'm keeping mine.

Search for 1st Gen or Mk1 rather than Phase 1, thats what most people call them.

There was one on the bay 1-2 weeks ago so they do exist.

Cheers guys, i'll stop spending money on my Volvo and start saving for another Surf then.
