  • New Shocks

Having a problem still with irritating knock from back end and have tried allsorts to find it. I have just been advised to renew rear shock absorbers but feel wary incase its not the problem. Is it possible to disconnect one at a time and see if theres a difference or would this be too dangerous, would I need to jack up one side to do this? Any advise would be gratefully accepted, its doing my head in as everything else is running great so far.

On my last 4x4 I had a shocker go, and the easiest way to test it is to get a grip of one of them and give it a damn good shake. Mine snapped in the top of the housing and would rattle for fun but a visual inspection showed it as OK. Give it a good radge (technical term) back and forth and you may hear it banging on the outer covering.
