Hi guys thanks for info on London emission zone sent off lots of pics etc to Transport for London they will send you a form to fill in and allmost by return post my Surf is now compliant , thanks again , right now to the matter in hand I have a leak in the passenger side footwell, thought at first it was the screen but have recentley had to have a new one fitted, and on close inspection there was nothing amiss, it may be poss I have been driving through too much flood water and possible entry through door rubber but cannot see where, also been told many cars have a pollen filter which sooner or later leaks help appreciated please guys , the leak is not just a trickle .

Check the rubber grommet that fits around the coax from the aerial,comes through somewhere to the left of the glove box,If I remember correctly the hole is approx 10mm in diameter,if grommets missing....lots of water

No sign of a leak there recenly fitted complete new arial all water tight there, also checked a grommet under the carpet in the footwell thats ok as well.

It may be the heater matrix that is leaking.

Have you had a look at your coolant levels?

They seem ok but then I am only a chippie what do I know ,will get my soninlaw to investigate further he is a mechanic , lets see how good he is ha ha . will keep you posted.
