  • Snorkel.

My snorkel arrived this week, from www.aliensnorkels.co.uk .It appears to be decent quality, and a comprehesive kit. One problem, though. No instructions. It's no big deal, though, because there's a good write up on the Aussie site. In their write up, they specify the two large holes to be drilled are 89mm and 83mm. I'd like to drill 90mm and 85mm so that I can use rubber beading in order to further reduce any potential vibration. There must be quite a few on here who have fitted a snorkel; What hole saws did you use, and where did you get them? I've looked on line, and there are none available in those sizes. Any help, or advice, please.....Thanks.

I'm afraid I don't know, Carl. It's totaly devoid of any manufacturers I.D. Even the packaging was plain. ( I'll bet the neighbours thought it was a blow up doll being delivered. .) I ordered it about 3 months ago. The guy at Alien doesn't provide a phone number, so all communication was emails. He doesn't carry them in stock, and I had to wait for one in his next shipment. When that arrived, his suppliers hadn't sent it. He was very apologetic, and got me one at short notice from another source. It seems to be good quality, in LLDPE, and with a pretty comprehensive fitting kit. At the same quoted price of £120.00 delivered, I didn't quibble. If you get in touch, I'm sure he can help.

As per usual, you're jumping in with irrelevant comments, without reading the thread properly.
