EDIT: You state that it's a 'N' reg, is it definitely a 2nd gen?

Did you cure the over heating with the viscous oil change or is it still a problem.

Thanks folks for the pointers. I shan't bother polishing it, buyer can see it as is (it will probably still be full of shooting gear) . So long as it fetches a grand or so I'll be happy, that way there's no come backs. It will be sold as is at a fair price, I just wanted to know an approximate market value to base my price on. I'll try it at about £1100 or £1200 and negotiate down if need be. I want it gone within a couple of weeks so price will be based who comes first with cash.

Yep, cured. It was the viscous so I filled it and reset it to come on a little earlier. Towed the caravan uphill and down dale since without a problem.
You can't knock these surfs, they do a great job and are comfortable but the seating position's a "little peculiar" (and my knees are knackered anyway). They don't seem to have a character though, everything works perfectly so there's none of that "on this motor you have to do this". And believe it or not, some LR owners miss that

OK, so I may have bit. It's going to happen though on a surf forum when someone mentions LR. I just assumed it was the unnecessary slagging off of a different make after I had gone to great pains to not do that about the surf.

You got off very lightly compared to other single make forums.
If this had been the LandRover forum and you said you were buying a Hilux you would have at least banned.

Yep, but that would have been the only correct thing to do wouldn't it, you can't soil a LR forum with Yota's can you now.
