i have recently noticed a growing number of other surfers waving at me from their cabs - having just sold a cooper s and i thought this was just the preserve of mini owners, but wait !, bikers have the cursory nod, does everybody now wave at each other, do mondeo drivers wave at each other and i just havent noticed. i think not. but hey is it cool to wave back? - maybe the surfer that was waving at me was a, and wants me to - nah dont go there. in this litigous society, i wonder if its such a good idea to wave at a strange man, but if its cool in surf land to acknowledge other surfers then it would be rude not too, if however you were that surfer and you are on the forum and most definately not trying to coerce me into batting for the other side then i must apologise for being rude, if you were - then please dont wave again.

Oh you must wave, shout, hang out the sun roof, share that cheeky little knowing smile we all have...
If you don't like the look of someone, you're going in the opposite direction, just nod quickly and put your foot down.
I sometimes forget and wave at Surfers while in my car... der. If you see someone in Surrey/Sussex in a dark blue Peugeot 206 waving like a twonk, s'mee !Had enough... going to live in Spain....

Waving
i am now waving - its official - but be warned , any discernable smile above the NATO standard combined with a wave, and this will constitute a serious breech of something that is serious.

Waving. Strange thing, but curiously satisfying.
As en ex-Beetle, Mini Piccadilly, and bike rider, a wave is a sign of acknowledgement and mutual respect. However, when it comes to Surf's I've found myself looking stupid on quite a few occassions with a blank stare reply.
Try your best, but there's a few owners (probably don't use this site) who won't respond.
Wave at me and you'll get a beaming smile and a thumbs up.Everything's easy, when you know how!
