It wasn't the idea of producing stickers, it was the idea that you would even pay for them, as though you expect them for free.

Neither I nor Steve were or are affiliated with the site, so I (and Steve, I'm sure) would certainly expect payment for them.

Dave, I've made thousands of 'hilux surf' stickers for members here in the past, and I'm sure Steve will in the future - people even paid me for them. I made them for Nigel for a while - the ones he gives out in return for subscription fees. He paid me too

Just be glad you don't own an HSV derivitive. They banned us from producing little bumper stickers with their name on it... I've still got one left though. might look daft on a Toyota though... hmmm

I offer the new owner of a cutting machine a few quid to produce me a couple of stickers, that would help promote this site, then get sniped by someone who used to make stickers. What's that all about?

Yes, I did hope/believe that I'd get said stickers as promised by being a contributor to the site. It hasn't happened. Rather than add to the list of posts saying "where's my sticker" I'm offering to buy one independently. If the seller then feels a requirement to pay a percentage to the website owner, good for him. If he doesn't feel the need he can PM me and keep it private. He can PM me as I'm a contributor. I always have been. I've still not got a hiluxsurf.co.uk sticker though.

Dave - I *used* to make them, but does that matter? It certainly isn't the sticker makers responsibility to send stickers to you.

Steve can certainly make some for you. Don't think that's ever been in question has it? I was just having a poke at the way you phrased your request, nothing sinister.

Right I will produce some hiluxsurf stickers for people then as long as I'm not breaking any forum rules . £3 for a decal posted (covers cost of vinyl , envelope , and a stamp, )
