    Mick, are these real suede? Are they really soft?
    Would a builder's rough plaster/gripfill/cement covered hands make it smooth/shiny in no time at all, or do you reckon it'd wear ok?

      They are real suede, John, and having rough caloused hands, myself, I did worry about that. It's like anything else, though. The more often you use it, the quicker it wears out. A good compromise could be to fit a suede one, and keep a cover to put on the wheel when driving with dirty hands.

        Erm that would mean I have a nice suede wheel with a cover on it ALL THE TIME!
        Mind you at that price, they are nearly "consumables"!
