Some of you will remember I had my gearbox reconditioned last year?

Anyway, it's going back in tomorrow because I'm not happy with it; but I was wanting to triple check something with you all.

With what is essentially a new gearbox, should I be able to tow 750kg up a long, steepish, hill without the ATF temperature warning light coming on?

Yup, would have expected to. The only time I've ever had the ATF temp light come on was from a standing start on a steep hill with a Surf on a trailer!

It shouldn't even notice 750kg, thats only slighly more than just a loaded truck with no trailer.

It actually started to overheat today on the Motorway, empty!
