Coming up for 5th Year of ownership now, it's the longest I've ever kept a car by a long, long way.
It's never once let me down, the only thing that failed on it was the aftermarket alarm!
It's covered over 230000kms, still looks really good and still tows the caravan out of muddy fields with no problem whatsoever.
Everything works exactly as it should (well, most bits ) and it's still fun to drive.
All I do on it is change the oil and filter regularly and grease the nipples. It just runs and runs and runs...

Know exactly what you mean. I only bought mine to teach the wife a lesson as she kept on moaning about us needing a 4wd if we moved up to her father's farm. I thought once she'd run around in the big wobbly slow thing for a couple of months I could say "told you so" but I just fell in love with the big diesel guzzling thing. Common sense says get rid but I just cannot bring myself to do it. Plus I've spent that much on it that it now stands me at about four times what it's worth.
