    So sorry to hear the news.
    You did the correct thing, both at the begining, as you had to give her the chance of recovery.
    And at the end, when you gave her comfort.
    I know it is a very difficult decision to make, but you did the best for your dog throughout.

        Can I just add to everyone's condolencies.

        I had to have my cat put to sleep a few months ago, it was the right thing to do, but that didn't make doing it any easier. I know exactly how you feel.

                    Desperately sorry to hear that, you did what you could and made the ultimate sacrifice in the end by letting her go.

                    As a pet owner there's nothing more you could have done but it doesn't make it any easier.

                        You did your best no one could ask for more,my heart goes out to you i know exactly how you feel.I was in a similar position with my wife several years back she had put up with breast cancer,lung cancer and finaly 2 brain tumors the hospital gave upon her so ihad her home for last 3 months and had to decide when the syringe driver went in.

                          Reading your post sent shivers down my spine and left me hoping to christ that I'm never put in that position.
