  • Rear Quarter bumpers.

A while ago a few people including me were trying to come up with a replacment for these notoriously rusty scabby things hanging off our Trucks. Someone was going to do a fibre glass copy I beleive. I will be taking mine off in a few weeks and will be looking at making a Stainless Steel replacement, I was thinking of something completly different to what is on there now, 2" Dairy tube maybe ? Any ideas sketches etc, and I will see what I can do, and hopefully sell them on the site at a good price, knowing me I would probably give them away ! Hope this helps, as if I bought new ones it would double the value of my Truck.

Mine will be coming off at some point, I'm not sure at the moment if I'll just remove all the chrome & rust, patch up and paint satin black or do summat completely different.

but out of stainless steel or aluminium and without the spare wheel/jack carrier.

      AC/DC TIG welder on it's way, woo-hoo!

you might need a wee bit more than a tig to make that bumper vince.

nothing big - just a mill, a folder and a set of rollers

on the dairy pipe bumpers - works a treat. i made a set a few years back for a willys jeep. all the bends are available off the shelf so no bender needed. also being 316 it polishes up lovely.

Nothing too elaborate, just rectangle box section accross the back and make up the sides with plate similar to the front bumper....
