Help any gumtree experts

A dealer (who is selling a similar car) has spotted my ad for my BMW and has had my ad removed (reported it as fraud)...yet this same dealer is advertising on gumtree as a private seller but on pistonheads as a dealer, same car, same details, same pics.

I have reported him to Gumtree but his ad is still up mine has been removed for 2 days now.

I take it the car is in the same area? If so give said dealer a ring and if car isn't to far away go and take a gander. Kindly refuse car, call back much later with paint thinners or rusty nail and exact your revenge!

Nah, just kidding, too many CCTV cameras around for that, and anyway I'm sure you're above such drastic retaliation.

I can't see how the hell you can be accused of fraud by offering a car for sale anyway.

I dont know exactly what he flagged to gumtree but they seem to take such accusations seriously thou i have appealed and flagged his behaviour.

It really is dog eat dog out there when it comes to car sales, My car is the more desirable i suspect he wanted to eliminate the opposition.

No his was blue... Gumtree finally reacted it took nearly 2 weeks..

he was clearly posing as a private seller on some sites, and as a trader on other sites.
