    Not keen on the red though, needs to be a khaki colour with a white roof.

    I was brought up "in the other camp" so to me they are always a poor copy of this...



    Don't know what it is, but there's something "homemade" looking about the early LC's...


    ETA and he even refers to it as a Jeep in the listing! I rest my case.

      The Toyota BJ 40 is very lovely. There was a thread on here a few weeks ago where a LA firm renovated old Landcruisers from new chassis frame up They looked absolutely fantastic but the price was astronomical.
      I think it would look better in a less bright colour.

          You've got that wrong, there is something 'well built' about those Cruisers.



          TBH, A Heep can't compare with a soft top BJ40 with decent wheels and tyres.
