  • Apple ipod

Having had another nail slammed into my corporate coffin I am now the proud owner of a iPod .
My question is for other Apple users

Do you find any issues with your device after using a car charger to recharge the battery
    And
Could you recommend a plug in amp with a 3.5 mm jack outlet so I can plug into the car stereo?

    Cheers

    No to your first question.
As to your second, if you can stretch to it, I highly recommend the Alpine made for iPod head units like the CDE-125BT. 160 quid, easy to install, and you get a cable to plug your iPod in which I run from the back of the stereo into the centre console. The major benefit is that it is a PITA controlling the iPod unless you have a quick scrolling head unit.
The iPod charges when connected. The head unit also has hands free.
Appreciate that isn't the cheapest option though!

I think for the truck that will be a good way to go....I have never liked the original stereo the truck shipped with.

It is a good ,well featured head unit.

      But
The amp idea was for my vito,MB want ....wait for it £229+vat+fitting
just for the fitting kit not a new head unit just some cable and a interface unit!!!!!

Think a trip to poundland to get 3.5mm earphone extension cable is on the cards
There is a female 3.5mm socket in the glove box and to save £300 odd I think I will make do with the music on shuffle!!!!

[QUOTE=slobodan;756341]Radio 4 is most pleasant when one is sucking on a Werther's original.

There you go that is what you really meant.
