Toyota Surf 3Ltr Diesel 6 cylinder

Is there such a thing as a Toyota Surf 3Ltr Diesel 6 cylinder?
All I can find is a 4 cylinder or a 6 cylinder petrol and a friend says that the head gets too hot in the 2.4 Lr 4 cylinder ones and the 3 Lr 4 cylinder? Or is he just talking out his arse?

2.4's suffer with head problems but a lot of the ones that are left have had the head replaced by now, a few 3.0ltr's have popped up with head problems but not so many. Keep in mind the early 3.0ltr's are getting on for 20 year old now, with that in mind they are not so bad.

There are no 6 cylinder diesel models that I'm aware of.
