  • Lifted 3rd Gens pics please...

There's lots of 2nd gen evidence out there, but very little 3rd gen lifted/modded pics - everyone raves about the 3rd gens, does no one lift them? or have i missed a few threads...

Where's the 3rd gens with 4" lift, 33's and rock sliders.....?

Shaft's one is nearly finished in my garage, did Leigh's one awhile ago, and my one next on the list.

I did Charvils 3rd Gen truck something like 4 years ago, with a 2" TJM lift and 1 1/2" body lift.

Karma Supra also has one on bigger tyres and a few others around to.

*edit* don't forget Sluggys old 3rd Gen.

Looks like a rather wet Matt (24/7) there...

                      Some pics of mine here

I have a recent ish full one side pic of it on levelish land if you want to see how much that amount of lift "looks".

It looks normal to me now. I drove past a standard 3rd gen in Swanse this weekend and I realised how much it has grown!

Ive got the R/T sus lift , but Im waiting for Dara to do his body lift first so I can see how he deals with the intercooler bridging.

I still have to work that one out too. Looks like the easiest way would be to make up some kind of spacer to fit between the intercooler and the plastic grid. I did make up a model on sketchup but, judging from the lack of response I've had from plastic molding companys, getting one made properly probably isn't a viable option.

...it's hard to say whether or not I can actually notice any difference in power anyway though

Easy to DIY. -and should cope with the temperatures.
