Kangaroo skin is the best for abrasion resistance. Your armour should be the absolute best you can afford. If you think your head is worth £35, buy a £35 crash helmet. Same with your body, if you think it's worth a few pounds, that's what you pay.

2 piece are not as good as one piece in a spill.

Got a Spada jacket for the hols. Cant fault it but the people who design and sell them are bikers. The website is Here but i got mine cheap off ebay, worked fine when i hit the road literally

I got a one piece and a two piece from Damerells Motorcycles when I was living in Cornwall.

They are both made by Teknic, the race suit is the Violator which is Kangaroo leather and the two piece is thr Chicane and is standard leather, both are very good in my opinion.

My lid is a top notch shoei & same with boots "sidi", after asking a few bikers I know they recon they are good gear with decent armour built in & I already have a good back protector.

If I had the money I'd have a £1200 alpine stars suit but as things are I think they will do me fine, they are alot better than my old ones & they went down the road at 70mph with me in them & they held together.

I have never seen any bad RST leathers and nobody has said to me that they are rubbish.

I use one of the RST helmets and i love it.

I do however use Alpinestar Leathers, but i got them in one of He Hein Gerickle sales that they have, so if there is one of those about to happen then go for it.

Then again if you can wait how about the Season Opener MCN show where there are loads of bargins to be had.

I got a two peice Berik set at the Birmingham bike show half price a couple of years ago. Berik do the Suzuki Moto GP team leathers and I have to say I cant fault mine.

Alpinestars boots and gloves and Schuberth lid (not cheap but quiet and comfy as well as practical) with a Knox back protector (although probably going to swap to a Forcefield) sort the rest of me out.

Shows are a good place to go shopping although London isnt the best for shopping its on next month at Excel.
