  • Winch Stolen

What a nice start to the new year some B*****d has stolen the winch from my Surf.
Was stolen last night whilst vehicle parked outside back of house in Witham, Essex.

More expense just after christmas to replace it.

I know you don't want to read this but.........
If the winch was only attached to the front of the truck by a pin, then you kinda made it easy for it to be pinched!

Fixed with a pin?? been watching too much Blue Peter me thinks lol!

NO, it was all bolted in to crossmember and chassis they removed all the bolts cut the wires and smashed/bent all the front plate up to remove it as there is not enough room for the winch to come out normally without removing the front nudge bar.
