KZN 185 Rack

Hi All,

Are these things rebuildable / adjustable in any way? Got a bit of movement / play in mine which is definitely the rack rather than than the bushes or rack ends. Rack end moves up & down on the rack when one front wheel jacked up and steering wheel moved and there is an audible clunk. I suspect this means a new rack, if so how difficult a job is it? Managed rack bushes, rack ends & track rod ends O.K, is the entire rack a serious PITA?

They can be rebuilt, Roughtrax sell rebuilt ones on an exchange basis

Not too hard to remove, but the main nuts and bolts have a seriously high torque rating!
