Absolutely shocking but unfortunately not rare, we discovered a dog in a rubbish tip barely alive,he died as we tried to move him to our car. He had a mark on his leg like he'd had been on a drip. Contacted a few vets in the area. A local man was identified, he had told his wife he was taking the dog to the vets to be put down as he'd been really ill. But he didnt want to pay another vet bill so dumped him. He was prosecuted

I was driving home one afternoon when i spotted a dog lying on the pavement of a tree lined street in Leeds. Lots of people were walking by including school children as it home time. My sister and I stopped and realised the dog was dead... (must have been hit by a car) We covered the poor dog with a blanket and reported the incident to the police, who were less than helpful. I hate to think how long that poor animal was left lying on the street like a piece of rubbish....breaks my heart

Keep up the good work ...Donation on its way to a great cause

Your a good hearted man Paul, like most, unfortunataly ther are the minority that think it's ok to do this to animals, like other comments i would do to those whatever they have done to animals, just yesterday on the news some c##t's have got into a field in a 4x4, gone tearing about running over sheep, many dead, some very badly injured, some limbs missing, really makes my blood boil,
i will make a (small i'm afraid) donation soon as i can, also wish we could take a pup in, my wife and i would both like another dog, she really wants a maltese but whatever it'll put our "Patches" nose out of joint as he's a proper spoilt sod
anyway have a good christmas all of ya inc the new pups
                all the best, ian

Really good news that they're all doing ok, great result. A bit of an iffy start in their lives but looks like they'll be well in with a chance now.

Good evening all, well we have now had the pups 8 days, Molly Misty and Milo are doing very well, Milly now suckles a bottle, without having to use a syringe as a backup. Milly is alot smaller than her brother and sisters, but she is battling away, so far so good. Absoloutly knackered, feel like i could sleep for a week. Merry christmas to you lot, and we hope your dreams and wishes come to fruition in a good year for all.
