Black Ice frightens me...

In the surf, without TC you don't get the vibration to tell you your brakes ain't stopping you...
I happily drove up to the junction at the end of our road, not knowing the road was a sheet of glass. Applied the brakes and wondered why the scenery wasn't staying where it should... Luckily I had plenty of distance to try out different stopping techniques before I ran out of road/hit the main road traffic... It could have been very different...
Give me snow and white ice any day over the hidden dangers of black ice...
