Brake pipes

Just a quick one.

Just got my copper pipe and flaring tool stuff from ebay to re-do the fixed brake pipes and I just want to check that the pipe ends need to be double flared.

I only ask as the two I have removed to date look as though they are single flared...

To cold (1C) for this but If I don't do it today I can guarantee it will snow next week!

As a general rule-of-thumb - if the pipe end is Male, it's double flared; if it's Female, it's a single flare. There are exceptions though.
