  • MMmmmm... purple!

Just got some bits back from the anodisers

Middleburn crank spider, XC-Pro brake levers, and a seat post clamp for the Proflex build. Lovely, and pretty cheap too! £15 inc recorded postage!

    Ooh lovely!

Where did you send them? Thats the colour I want for the valve covers and intake plenum on my engine, should look good in a yellow engine bay.

See that bit in my first post that says 'XC-Pro brake levers'

Vince, I'll ask the chap if he can do them for you - it's a bit of a sideline so I dunno if they might be a bit big to sneak into the tanks! If he's ok with it, I'll send his details.

          OK ta!
It's just these three parts, I'll polish them up first... (not the plastic bits obviously)

I guess you already know the ins and outs of the process, but just incase - ALL non-aluminium bits need to be removed so if there's any steel inserts, they'll need to come out of the acid will destroy 'em.

<Edit> I've emailed him the pic Vince - will let you know what he says.
