For those that have not kept up with the Lez Zone (post 109)
I spoke to a guy called Ashley who asked me my Reg No, he put this in his Pc n asked me to put my Pc on n go to... www.tfl.gov.uk/lezlondon
Click on Mouve square, enter your Reg No. press the Check button at the bottom and hey Presto.... all should be good "NOT SUBJECT TO LEZ"

Give em a try at Tfl ....0845 607 0009

nb. When the page shows info "NOT SUBJECT TO LEZ" print it off.

I spoke to Anne Marie at VOSA today. She had been off last week or I would have called her then. When she came in this morning and found that the cases she had sent to TfL had still not been processed she was extremely angry. She has spoken to them again and they have assured her that the cases will be processed in a run they are doing tomorrow night - so if your case was handled by Anne Marie details should be updated by Wednesday morning. She will be checking herself and if the details have not been updated then she will be escalating the matter to one of her senior managers with whom she has already raised the matter. Anne Marie made it abundantly clear that there is no doubt whatsoever that the Surf is regarded as a compliant vehicle for LEZ purposes - and she is perfectly happy to put this in writing should anyone wish. The only reason a Surf is shown as non-compliant should be because TfL are struggling to process all the pending cases - assuming of course that the vehicle in question has been brought to their attention, either using the registration form or via Anne Marie.

I appreciate that the deadline is fast approaching but I remain confident that if your case has gone through Anne Marie then it will be processed in time.

To restate, if you have already had an application to TfL rejected - which was submitted using the TfL registration form - then try Anne Marie, otherwise your request should be done using the TfL registration form.

Sorted at last

I've just checked my car details on the LEZ compliance checker and it now says "Not Subject to LEZ".

The Anne Marie route has paid dividends - hopefully the same will be true for others who have gone the same way. I'll get some plonk posted off as a thankyou.
