  • Driving from uk to Czech republic

Hi i have been asked to take a horse by trailer from uk to Czech republic, and was wondering if anyone on here has done this trip, its about 1100 miles from my location, not going until march next year. thinking about using my 2nd gen 3.0 ssrg for the trip.

I've been, I've been..if you go via Dresden, there's loads of self employed ladies, disproporting in the all together. Bit odd seeing a lady stood in - temps wearing a bikini...scammell wheel nuts they was like!
    Non intercooled nothing.

          Hi Ziggy

I've done a few Motorbike tours round near the area. All i will say is watch your speed and just air on the side of caution. A little corrupt to say the least.....then again no worse than british bankers

Have a look on some of the MB forums for a great source of advice

Hope you go ahead with and have a great trip

I worked in CZ for a bit, tis quite respectable compared to Bulgaria where I also worked...
It's not a bad place, but as has been said, just stay on the right side of the law, don't take chances and don't drink the local Vodka...

Why are you taking a there anyway?!

The horse wasn't keen on going back all inclusive to Balek next year.

Sounds totally legit to me. If I was CZ Fuzz, I'd believe you...shortly after introducing you to Vlad...

And believe me, if they are having a bad day and your doing 36mph.....kiss goodbye to a few quid. Also take a out of date credit card just incase. If you have the misfortune of being held up. Give it over along with the PIN. Craxy i know. But me and my friend picked this tip up from a couple of bikers a few years back and it works,
