Found some of those replacement LED lamps for the side lights on e bay for a pittance and couldn't resist. They arrived and I decided to get on with it before it got dark.
Fitted both and switched on, nothing! The chap from four doors up walked past and had a peep, "oh, LEDs eh?" he says, "nice".
"Yes" I reply, "but somethings not right, they won't work".
So, we both ponder away for the next five minutes as to what could be wrong.
Now bear in mind I'm an electrician of nearly 30 years experience with a decent background in electronics and he's an electronic engineer who thinks nothing of repairing his own 1970's Space Invader machine (no, really) and we're both stumped when the man who lives between us who mends heavy plant for a living begins reversing into his drive. "oh LEDs eh? Will they not work? Have you got them in the right way round?"
Don't you just hate a smart ar5e?
