                Fish Brothers Toyota Swindon.

G/box mount may well be "split" I'm sure though the rubber is in the condition I would expect it to be for being 20 years old.

If the G/box filter is as dirty as the pics you posted then I will leave as is.

                Low oil ? mweh ?

Rear crank seal leaking more likely the rear rocker cover seal dribbling down the back of the block.

Brake fluid ALL the brake fluid was replaced when I very recently replaced out the corroded brake lines in front of rear wheel .

Coolant change ? hell the only thing I have seen recently that was greener was Shrek.

Rear osr bush and bracket missing guilty as charged (new bracket from roughtrax waiting to to be fitted Saturday),and that only got damaged after a recent trip over The Plains.

IF I had just been Joe Public then yes I would have been robbed ,but with the help of this site and it's members I knew that I can rely on for so so much.So many many thanks to All of you who have given me very good advice over the years.

You can tell they were just thinking up prices by the unusual amounts.
How do they know the history of the coolant changes, it's an import!
The transmission filter will last the life of the truck and should never need replacing or even cleaning. The solenoids or clutch bands will pack up before the filter will.
I replaced a (http://www.roughtrax4x4.com/?doc=16&cid=163&vid=828) on Lexurf VII, took all of 15 mins FFS!

                    15 mins?

I assume jack up to take weight of g/box undo mount and replace with new.

So £36 for parts and £471 for 15 mins labour seems about right,Trading Standards springs to mind

Yup, take the weight of the transmission using a jack and block of wood under the sump or under the transfer box, 12mm & 14mm sockets and an extension bar is needed to get at the bolts on the transmission side of the mount.

Bolt the new mount to the transmission first, then to the crossmember.
