i guess at that price it must be from china but with a 3 year warranty its worth a punt as long as the shop takes it back and you don't have to post it to the maker.
it will run a 9" grinder with 2800w - think mines 1850w.
I got an isolator installed in the house so that if we have a powercut the generator can be plugged in to run our electrics. Our electrician reckons it should at least keep the freezer going, and maybe even the heat.
I suppose I should test it before I need it...
Anyway, the most I've ran from it so far is a kettle, a printer, a laptop and the timing gear at an autocross. Or a kettle with one of the induction hobs Aldi were selling last year (excellent piece of kit!).
I don't suppose I was expecting much at that price,
Do you think it's worth £169.00 ?
£170 with a three year warranty why not Lidl would not be my first choice for getting a genny from but why not like Bio said don't bother with any 'pooters unless you have a ups.......
I paid £300 for it 6 years ago but it's still the same thing just different case and colours , The best bit was the fist one they sent me was dammaged so they sent me a second one ...... The first one then sat in my garage for two years waiting for them to pick it up, and no shows so after 2 years my dad fixed it for about £50 and we had 2 one he has at his place and the other here .
That's a good price for a get out the shit one.
TBH if you are looking at gennies perhaps you should be looking at solar , wind and water generation and big batteries.
