Gearbox trouble?

Hello everyone, hope you are all well.

After many months of trouble-free Surfing, I have noticed a knocking / vibrating noise, that sounds like it is coming from the front passenger foot-well. I only hear it when I am in Drive and come to a stop, with my foot on the brake. When I lift the brake pedal or put it in N or P the noise stops. It doesnt do it in reverse, just in Drive.
It seems to be getting worse, is it something to do with the gearbox?

Could it be a universal joint? Have you been underneath and given everything a good inspection.

I dont know much about cars, I will take it to the garage that has done a few jobs on it before and see what they say. Apart from the knocking/vibrating at standstill it drives perfect!

I should read posts properly...when you are stopped. Maybe the exhaust banging on the body work...
