Slightly off topic, can anyone recommend a decent jack that is cheap, and can cope with a lifted truck?
My elaborate balancing of bits of wood under and on top of a trolley jack is bound to end it tears in the not too distant future, and I don’t have any points that are compatible with high lift jacks....More Lift.
More Tyres.
More Engine.

You can get a fitting for a hi lift that allows you to lift the truck by the wheel (if you're changing the wheel you lift by the wheel, put axle stands under the axle, remove the jack then the wheel then reverse the steps)
It works well enough and I've done it plenty of times. Of course if the truck comes off the axle stands theres no way of getting it off the deck as the wheel that you need to attach to is off.
I can jack off my sliders and had a little hi lift location point welded to the bottom of my winch tray.
