It's probably because of the eastern europeans, or the lesbians, or the dole scroungers - or the lesbian Polish scroungers!

I don't give a monkeys - I've got shed loads of wood for the fire.

The last few years I've been fighting my way to work in the worst of the weather to be one of 2 or 3 people who made it in. This year (Surfless) I'm gonna look out of the window, get back into bed and use the 'fcuk it' method like most of my colleagues.

Well I've started obsessively searching and investigating the long term weather forecast already. I think I need help, ha.
Would take snow over sun any day.

Britain is about to experience an early winter, with snow expected to arrive as soon as next month, forecasters have warned.
Temperatures over the next three months will plummet to below average with one long-range forecaster predicting snowfalls in October.
James Madden, of Exacta Weather, said: ‘I expect to see the first signs of some moderate to heavy snowfalls as early as October or November in certain parts of the UK.‘I expect December, January and February to experience below-average temperatures, with the heaviest snowfall occurring within the time frame of November to January across many parts of the UK.

Just ordered up my cooper discoverer mud and snows!

There's snow forecast for the high tops tonight, mainly the Cairngorms and the western highlands with more to come towards the weekend. Not enough for boarding yet but mine is waxed and ready to go.
I usually go by the Mountain Weather Information Service (www.mwis.org.uk) as it is 99% bang on, I wouldn't personally pay much heed to what the Mail say......
