          But, being government approved, it'll cost 10 times as much.

          Apparently it'll test the auxiliary circuits too.

              It would appear not. Unless you take the socket off, if it's not there, they cant test it

                Though it is probably worth wiring a socket up at some point - will have to look for a how-to somewhere.
