look there was a picture of a truck on here with one its a well known member who will own up i think its popeye he has one fitted to the front of his truck, its liek a reverse spoiler a plastic trim that goes along the front of the bonnet edge, that scoops more air towards the rad area. i cant find the pic but i have seen it here.
If you mean one like the front of this truck
Or the one on my old 2nd gen, then you are mistaken
nope the one i saw was mor like a spoiler in reverse bigger than those with the lip facing the front so it scooped air towards the rad. same place as those but im sure you get my drift... i read it a while back im sure
That sounds really nice. I'd like to get one for mine. Maybe you could find a picture of one, and post it?...........
[QUOTE=Thrifty;737354]yeah i will spend hours looking for it for you:
If it even existed, then surely you'd be able to "Google " it. You do have internet acess, don't you?...............Maybe you could just "cut and paste" your answer.........

You don't mean something like this do you?
Funnily enough, I reckon that could make for an interesting look on a Lexurf...!
Got mine for twenty quid and sprayed it to match the bumpers and arches as a contrast. Didn't do it with a jigsaw, because there's some structural stuff under the bonnet skin (For those who haven't removed their sound insulation). I just used a hand held nibbler, about a tenner from MM. I'll take some detailed pics tomorrow, if you like, to show you where the holes were drilled.......
Here we go, Kev. Theres a link to the Aussie site, where someone has used one as a scoop for an intercooler. http://www.toyotasurf.asn.au/techsit...lingpajero.htm (Holden
Jackaroo.............what were they thinking?.... As promised, here are some pics of mine. It looks a little bit "Redneck", because I need to remove it again, and put rubber beading on the bare metal edge. When im satisfied, I'll also put a bead of sealant between scoop body and bonnet, to seal it permenantly......Hope these help....Cheers....Mick.
