IMHO 4x4's should be simple so that they can be repaired in extreme conditions, these so called 4x4 motor are getting too complicated and prissy ......Would you really want to take that across Africa or Asia knowing you need a computer just to reset it

my thought too,the old defender was bad enough for braking down,and looks is not going to go down well with the old school defender boys,i was thinking kia looks and the back looks is a bit FJ cruiser ish,also new mini

I hold a torch for the Defender, Lame Rover reputation or not. A slightly lifted black one on big boots looks the bomb to me, and you get the impression it will go anywhere (rightly or wrongly). And I learnt to drive in an old one .

This thing? Yuck. Why the hell would you want a Defender with crappy plastic trim all over it? Also, it looks like a cross between a mini (oops, sorry, a "MINI") and a children's drawing of a truck.

TBH,I wasn't sure about the Evogue,but I saw one in the "flesh" last week,and it does look good,but why are they only in crappy white???

I wouldn't trust either of them more than 10 miles from a dealer though!
