this was my latest little project for a neighbour
he had this crash helmet


and he wanted it to look a little better so gave me a basic idea and i turned it into this

Yes, the chemicals/solvents in most paints will weaken the shell of the helmet.

spit and polish is the best way to keep ya helmet shiney if done daily

Yeah the type of paint you use on a helmet will depend on the material the helmet is made from .
This was a fiberglass helmet and I used waterbourne paint so there's no nasty solvents in it to attack the helmet.
