trailer out of a 3 door surf??

i had being thinking this for a while, do a trailer out of a 3 door surf, so it will be weather proof and cool to have it similar as your own vehicle, not to mention the benefits of an off-road trailer. i know where is one and is being sitting there for years, just need to persuade the owner to remove his "scrap"
anybody done this??
do anyone knows who does this kind of thing?
don't have the equipment so if i get it i will need to find someone to do a good job, and legal to drive it around.

I started doing this to a 5 door surf. It turned into an epic and I sold it for scrap. It would make for a very heavy trailer...

I made one out of some 2" angle iron and a few sheets of 3/4" marine ply. If that's any use.
