twin stick

has anyone here tried fitting a twin stick. it says it cant be done on an auto box set up but i cant see why not.

if the add is locked on and you have manual hubs the only thing i can see as a problem is the electric motor on the transfer case - i'm not sure how it connects up inside the transfer case as i cant find a schematic on the internals.

my 4wd has stopped working again (electrical gremlins) and i fancy making it fully manual to get rid of all the electrics.

Are you running a front locker? I thought twin sticks were so you can switch between 4lo and 2lo.

Ignore me, you have a Lexurf, I know why now.

one stick gives 2wd - 4wd(replaces the pushbutton) and the other stick hi - n - low as normal.

the idea was getting rid of all the electric change system but most do fit them to disengage the front lockers

if anyone has a diagram of the shift rods inside the transfer case showing the electric motor it would help.
