    Says I must post here to begin with, so I shall.

    Just got hold of a Surf, and been and made it muddy.



    Still Can't believe I own a Hilux

    Thats the way to do it. I hope you washed it down afterwards or one of the "shiney police" will be knocking at your door first thing one morning...

            Truck is pretty much clean now, (ready to get properly muddy again). Stuck the hose pipe in engine and gave the radiator a good washing over too, is that sufficient if done reasonably regularly?

              I rinse my radiator out with the hose pipe every time I wash the truck (once a week at best, once a month at worst) and I'm amazed how much crud actually comes off it even when I've not been off road.
